From Ellwood von Seibold, your tour guide.

This venture is truly a dream fulfilled. Since I was a small boy growing up in England, I have been fascinated by the history of WWI and WWII, and have compulsively collected militaria and visited battlefields for many years. I am a keen reenactor and a member of FAAA, a highly respected English reenactment group. I am also a member of the Friends of the 505 RCT Association, and a keen WWII vehicle collector.

I purchased my house in Sainte Mère Eglise in 2002. The house turned out to have a unique history which sparked my specific interest in the American events of D–Day. This house is in the centre of Sainte Mère Eglise, opposite the church where John Steele hung from his parachute, and therefore a perfect place to start your tour.

2008 - what an incredible year. I can only apologise to all of those that I had to turn away due to fantastic demand.

To all of those that did tour with me - I very much enjoyed your company, and thank you for your kind comments on my guestbook page.

I would earnestly advise anyone wanting a tour for this year - the 65th anniversary of D-Day, to reserve a booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. This will be the last opportunity to possibly catch a site of World War 2 veterans - visiting Normandy in an official capacity for the last time.

I very much look forward to providing you with a unique military historical experience.
